What these terms mean
Cookies are small records a website can ask your browser to store and return with later requests. LocalStorage and sessionStorage are separate browser storage mechanisms. Similar technologies can also remember preferences or support tracking, so the purpose of a technology matters as well as its name.
What the supplied site code uses
The core HTML, CSS and JavaScript delivered for this folio do not set cookies, read or write localStorage, or use sessionStorage. There are no analytics scripts, advertising tags or third-party embeds in that code. The navigation menu and scroll reveals use temporary page state only.
A separately provided consent interface, if displayed by the hosting platform, may remember a choice under its own disclosed storage arrangements. Such a control is separate from the letter tool and does not cause the folio's core code to activate analytics or advertising.
| Function | Storage or handling | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Reading and navigation | Temporary page state; ordinary browser caching may apply | Display content and open the mobile menu |
| Letter draft | Form fields and generated text in the current page | Prepare a local plain-text letter |
| Copy letter | Device clipboard after your explicit action | Allow pasting into your chosen application |
| Download letter | Local text file after your explicit action | Save your prepared letter |
Drafts, clipboard and downloads
The letter tool does not persist drafts using website storage. Browsers may independently offer form restoration, autofill or session recovery. Those browser features are outside the tool's own storage behaviour.
A clipboard copy or downloaded file can remain after you leave the page. To remove them, use your device's clipboard controls and file manager. Clearing this site's cookies does not necessarily remove those separate items.
External links
Source links take you to independent websites. Those websites may use cookies, analytics or other storage under their own notices. The folio does not embed their pages or load their tracking code simply by displaying a source link.
Your browser controls
You can review and clear site data through your browser's privacy or website settings, and control cookie permissions there. Restricting clipboard permission may prevent automatic copying, but the tool will allow you to select the generated text and use your device's own Copy command. The core reading content remains available without JavaScript.
